Digital doorbell campaign hits 150 milestone

Bobby Van operator Vincent Logue with Director Jennie Shaw

Our digital doorbell campaign has hit a milestone after the 150th free or low cost doorbell was fitted this month.

The campaign has been boosted by a £475 donation from Devizes Rotary Club. Another 11 bells have been funded by parish councils, says Bobby Van operator Vincent Logue.

“We are installing 15 funded by Selwood housing and we have supplied 15 free and another 12 at 50 per cent off,” he said.

“We took the decision to reduce the price to £95, which is £4.99 cheaper than the retail price. We install the doorbell and show our clients how to use them so it’s a good service. If they have Alexa speakers, we can link the doorbells to them and that makes them more effective.”

Director Jennie Shaw said: “We are very thankful to Devizes Rotary Club and all of our donors who have supported the campaign. We know these doorbell cameras make our clients feel safer.”
