Add some autumnal colour at Bag A Bargain
Shoppers at last year’s Bag A Bargain event at Longbridge Deverill
PRE-LOVED designer bargains will add a splash of colour to shoppers’ wardrobes at a sustainable fashion event in aid of the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.
Bag A Bargain, at Deverill Storage at Manor Farm, Longbridge Deverill, near Warminster, will be selling nearly new designer clothes, accessories and jewellery.
The two-day sale begins at 10am on Friday, September 4 from 10am to 6pm with tickets at just £7. The sale continues on Saturday, September 5 from 9.30am to 2pm and entry is free.
Director Jennie Shaw said: “Last year was a really nice occasion because lots of people came to meet friends and share a light lunch and a drink at our pop-up café and licensed bar and I hope this year’s will be even better.
“It is wonderful chance to come along with friends and spot some really lovely items at fantastic prices, and on the second day we have some amazing discounts and BOGOF offers.
“My top tip is to come prepared and wear a base layer, so our personal shoppers can help them shimmy in and out of different outfits to find the perfect look.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards the running costs of the Bobby Van service. “We need to raise more than £400,000 a year to maintain it, so events like this really help,” said Jennie. “We’d like to say a huge thanks to John Robins for allowing us to use the venue, and all our organisers and volunteers.”
