Golden Bottle Trust donation supports our work

We are deeply grateful for the generous donation of £50,000 towards maintaining our services from The Golden Bottle Trust.

The trust is the charitable arm of C Hoare & Co, the UK’s oldest privately owned bank, which was founded in 1672 at the Sign of the Golden Bottle on Cheapside, London. It has been owned continuously by the Hoare family for 12 generations.

The trust was launched in 1985 and has supported thousands of organisations through grants totalling more than £30m.

As we receive no statutory funding, generous donations like this are vital to helping us raise the £350,000 we need each year to continue keeping older people, and those with disabilities, safe in their homes.
