Well done Paul, many thanks.

On Sunday 11th July, Chief Superintendent Paul Williams ran the British 10K London run raising over £300 for the Bobby Van.

Paul said "A colleague told me if i wanted to see the best parts of London without running the marathon this was the opportunity. I'm really pleased to have done it and raise money for such a worthwhile cause."

Chief Constable's Certificate of Merit

'As recognition of the service and commitment provided to the victims of crime in Wiltshire, Alan Weston is awarded the Chief Contable's Certificate of Merit for more than ten years dedicated service to the Bobby Van Trust. Alan's drive, determination and commitment has been a key factor in the success of the Bobby Van service since its creation; providing valued security and reassurance to more than ten thousand people across Wiltshire over the years. In addition to his work for many elderly and vulnerable victims of crime, Alan has worked hard to attract funding for the Trust, promoting community safety and satisfaction.'

We would like to thank Tesco Charity Trust for their generous donation this year of £10,000. Mark Keirle, manager of Tesco in Trowbridge presented the cheque to Alan Weston in front of the store in March 2010.
